27But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 35But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
Luke 6:27-28, 35 (NIV)

1. SHOW YOUR LOVE THROUGH ACTION
(Do something good for them)

20-21Our Scriptures tell us that if you see your enemy hungry, go buy that person lunch, or if he's thirsty, get him a drink. Your generosity will surprise him with goodness. Don't let evil get the best of you; get the best of evil by doing good. (NLT) Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.

but runaway emotions corrode the bones.

Instead, they grumbled in their tents and refused to obey the LORD. Psalm 106:25 (NLT)

Friends, don't complain about each other. A far greater complaint could be lodged against you, you know. The Judge is standing just around the corner. James 5:9 (TM)

1. A COMPLAINING SPIRIT SHOWS YOU ARE UNGRATEFUL FOR GOD’S BLESSINGS

And don’t grumble as some of them did, and then were destroyed by the angel of death. 11 These things happened to them as examples for us. They were written down to warn us who live at the end of the age.
12 If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall.
13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
1 Corinthians 10:10-13 (NLT)

31 The Israelites called the food manna. It was white like coriander seed, and it tasted like honey wafers.
